Major turnaround moves towards completion – preparations for process units startup ongoing at the Neste refinery in Porvoo

The majority of the works for the 2024 major turnaround have been finished at the Neste refinery in Porvoo and preparations for starting up process units will begin in stages. This may cause temporary flaring, noise and odour nuisance in the nearby areas of the refinery. Startup of all units will take some weeks and the Porvoo refinery is expected to reach normal operations during June.

The temporary traffic arrangements in Kilpilahti, caused by the Neste major turnaround, continue until May 20, 2024.
